Application for Exam Preparation
Líbal, Tomáš ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of preparation of final exams at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. It describes the process of design and implementation of a web application that allows teachers to create and manage room schemes and terms of individual exams. An important part of the application is also the automatic placement of students in the rooms and the generation of individual exam assignments for printing based on the given template and the method of placement. The application provides students with a clear view of individual exam terms and details about them. The work will result in a functional and usable web application written in Java using the Spring and Angular frameworks.
LaTeX Revision System
Kyselák, Antonín ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This study describes the design of an integrated tool in text editor designated for documents written in LaTeX format. It offers the ability of tracking, storing and approving changes in document as a support for team cooperation, when writing a document. Application is designed mainly for operating system Windows. It works with LaTeX distribution MikTeX and the text editor Texmaker.
Information Portal for Students
Švarc, Miroslav ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work deals with the analysis of current communication systems used by students, the design of a new system and its implementation. The system includes a connection to the social network Facebook, the communication application Discord and Google services such as calendars and shared drive. The result is a functional system, programmed in PHP, which can be used for student communication.
Extending Presentation Features of Jupyter Notebook
Pastorek, Peter ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with Jupyter Notebook environment. It extends its abilities for presenting programming, allows downloading of materials from html documents, improves the look of presentations, allows automated preparation of the document for the presentation, editing of RISE settings used for presentation, and editing conversion of the document into LaTeX.
Semiautomatic Book Generator from Web Content
Sysel, Vojtěch ; Novosad, Petr (referee) ; Letko, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with semiautomatic book generator from web content. The program input is the URL address and a file with a template. From the URL address the program downloads a website from which it finds an interesting part by means of template. This part is then converted into LaTeX. The program output is PDF, DVI or PostSkript file and LaTeX source code which can be used for further modifications of the document. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with description of particular technologies. The practical part describes particular problems with implementation and their solutions. Further, creation of new templates is described there. The last part contains testing and shows using the program on several model examples.
BiBTeX Style for ČSN ISO 690 and ČSN ISO 690-2
Pyšný, Radek ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Křena, Bohuslav (advisor)
This thesis describes the creation of a BibTeX bibliographic style which could be used for the typesetting of bibliographic references according to the ČSN ISO 690 standard. The requirements of the ČSN ISO 690 standard are discussed, followed by the format of the interaction between the LaTeX typesetting system and the BibTeX tool. The structure of the bibliographic database and the bibliographic style that is required by the BibTeX tool is further elaborated. Finally, this thesis describes the properties of the created BibTeX bibliographic style czplain.bst .
Information Portal for Students
Krejčí, Petr ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work contains students' communication analysis, the design of new information system for students and its implementation. New system integrates the social network Facebook, the Google Docs and the Google Calendar. The result of this master's thesis is working system written in Java language. The system is based on the students' communication analysis and the requirements of the Students' Union.
A LaTex Interpreter Based on a Combination of Several Parsing Methods
Lebeda, Petr ; Techet, Jiří (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
The diploma thesis discusses the potential of interpretation of typographical language LATEX and describes the structure of this language, its functions and their syntax. Also it analyses possibilities of LaTeX interpretation into HTML (HyperText Markup Language), in order to create typographically accurate publications, which could be viewed by common web browser. The solution concept and outlines of possible problems follows.
Latex Modified Cement Composites
Kunc, Michal ; Rovnaníková, Pavla (referee) ; Kuřitka, Ivo (referee) ; Havlica, Jaromír (advisor)
The subject of dissertation is a study of physic-mechanical properties and development of self-leveling polymer-cement composite of the ternary binder system PC-CAC-CS modified with chemical additives and polymeric substances. The dissertation systematically describes a four-step optimalization of the composite considering its key properties. Experimental part has been focused on monitoring the impact of composite components on selected final properties. Basic physico-mechanical, structural properties and its relations (compressive strength, porosity, flow abilities, setting times) have been analyzed for deeper understanding of the effects of individual composite components. Methods which quantify the existence of the newly formed hydration product – ettringite (XRD, SEM with EDS, calorimetry, dilatometry) has been chosen as additional study methods on selected combinations. A working prototype of self-leveling polymer-cement composite was successfully developed based on systematic process and using of testing procedures and measuring methods.
Graphics and Presentation in the TeX and LaTeX Systems
Buňka, Roman ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the insertion of external graphic files into LaTeX documents and the creation of graphics using internal tools of TeX. It describes the basic properties of the PSTricks additional package and its expansion enabling the creation of 2D and 3D graphs, special mathematical functions and electrical circuits. The work deals also with the method of creating PDF presentations using the Beamer class. This work suggests a structure of a source SVG file displaying electric circuits or flow charts. It also involves the creation of an XSLT conversion template providing for the conversion of these charts from the SVG format to the PSTricks format making it possible to use these graphic files in the LaTeX system.
